Raising neshef’s tent

Reposted and edited from here.

Neshef’s Tent is an emerging part of Bizarro Torah as a practice: a temporary gathering place for joyful Jewish meaning-making.

Inspired by the feeling of encountering a mysterious tent in the desert at twilight, Neshef’s Tent transforms an ordinary space into another world where people can play in strange realities, explore Torah in new ways, and discover what happens when they share an enchanted space.

Sounds cool, right?

I want to bring that experience to at least two locations within the next year. But I want to go further than that. I want Neshef’s Tent to be financially accessible to grassroots organizations, small communities, and others who don’t have million-dollar budgets.

To make that happen, Bizarro Torah is raising $10,000 to cover program fees, facilitation, materials, and travel expenses for at least two in-person events. With this foundation, people thirsty for something new get to experience Neshef’s Tent for themselves at little or no cost.

Chip in if you can. If that’s not feasible right now, I get it. Share the link with at least 5 people you know. Let them know why they should support Bizarro Torah raising Neshef’s Tent.

Either way, I appreciate however you choose to help. Thank you.

Bizarro Torah is a fiscally sponsored project of Beloved Builders, Inc.
